We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Sumy on any device you own or control, subject to these terms and the App Store Terms of Service.
You agree not to use Sumy for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to processing content you do not have the right to use, infringing the intellectual property rights of others, or attempting to extract information from copyrighted material in violation of applicable laws. You are solely responsible for the content you submit to the app.
Sumy uses automated text recognition and AI-powered summarization to create concise versions of your content. While we strive for accuracy, summaries may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. You should not rely on Sumy for legal, medical, financial, academic, or other critical decisions without reviewing the original source. Summaries are provided for convenience only and do not constitute professional advice.
You retain all rights to the documents, images, and text you process through Sumy. We do not claim ownership of your content. By using the app, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your content solely for the purpose of generating summaries on your behalf.
Sumy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, accurate, or meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of productivity, or decisions made based on summaries generated by the app.
Certain features may require a paid subscription. Payments are handled by the App Store and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms or use the app in a way that may harm us or other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
