Sober Tracker - Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sober Tracker mobile application (“the App”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Not medical advice

Sober Tracker is a self-help and habit tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Health information in the App is general and may not apply to you. Stopping alcohol suddenly can be dangerous for people who drink heavily. Talk to a doctor before making changes. If you are in crisis or feel unsafe, contact your local emergency number right away.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal drinking age in your country if higher, to use the App.

Your data

The information you enter in the App is stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for making your own exports if you want a backup. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Subscriptions

Some features may be offered through an optional auto-renewable subscription (“Sober Tracker Plus”). Day counting and check-ins remain free.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you purchase a subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.
Prices and features may change. Any change to a subscription price will be communicated as required by the store.

Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the App, or use it in any unlawful way.

Intellectual property

The App, including its design, badges, illustrations and text, is owned by Talha Yavcin and is protected by applicable laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App on devices you own or control.

Apple users

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, these Terms apply together with Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error free or that any data will be preserved. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
